The Jazz Butcher is a band originally from Oxford formed in 1982 by Pat Fish and Max Eider, and when their second album “A Scandal in Bohemia” was recorded, which is reproduced on our t-shirt, they had David J and Kevin Haskins from Bauhaus/Love and Rockets in their line-up, something curious because the music of The Jazz Butcher, a luminous and heterodox pop, has nothing to do with the harsh after punk sound of David J and Haskins.

The Jazz Butcher is a band originally from Oxford formed in 1982 by Pat Fish and Max Eider, and when their second album "A Scandal in Bohemia" was recorded, which is reproduced on our t-shirt, they had David J and Kevin Haskins from Bauhaus/Love and Rockets in their line-up, something curious because the music of The Jazz Butcher, a luminous and heterodox pop, has nothing to do with the harsh after punk sound of David J and Haskins. On the other hand, The Jazz Butcher have always been a semi-obscure band that, although they have never stopped releasing albums and have a profuse musical production, have been kept away from the covers of the big English weekly magazines such as NME or Melody Maker, and even their entry in Wikipedia is anecdotal. In Green Slime Shop we intend to do justice to this magnificent band with the reproduction of the fantastic illustration of their second album that has been redrawn to achieve an excellent print on the T-shirt.
