The Chesterfield Kings are one of the most important bands of the so-called “garage revival” that was part of the US musical underground of the 80s and which included bands such as Miracle Workers, The Cynics, The Fuzztones, The Lyres, The Crawdaddys and a long etcetera. At the beginning the band was focused on the sound of the British Invasion and American bands like Chocolate Watchband, The Brogues, The Moving Sidewalks, etc. Later they moved on to a more 70s sound in the style of the Rolling Stones of that era or the New York Dolls, the latest albums have come back as a more neo-psychedelic Rolling Stones. What is clear is that their albums are always worth listening to.

For this T-shirt we have redrawn the band’s logo from their latest album Psychedelic Sunrise, which is probably their most successful typographic composition or at least the one that best suits a T-shirt.
