The Flamin’ Groovies released their debut album “Supersnazz” in 1969.Tthe band was known for their energetic live performances, often characterized by their raw and high-energy stage presence. Their
concerts during that time showcased their rock ‘n’ roll spirit and helped establish them as a notable presence in the underground music scene.
For this T-shirt we have used the graphic elements present in the design of the Supersnazz album. The cover has been digitally redrawn and coloured so that the quality of the result is superior to the pure scanning. For the back we have used the illustration of the back cover of the album and we have accompanied it with real dates of concerts of the band during 1969 using the typographies of the album.

The Flamin’ Groovies performed several concerts in 1969 to promote their album. Some of the venues they played at were Longshoremen’s Hall in San Francisco. Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena in Oakland, Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, and The Matrix in San Francisco. They shared the stage with other bands such as Canned Heat, Linn County, Harvey Mandel, MC5, and The Stooges. The concerts showcased the band’s energetic and eclectic style of music, which influenced many other artists in the following decades.
