The Charlatans were a band from Manchester who, together with The Stone Roses and Inspiral Carpets, best exemplified the transition between 1980s indie pop, deeply rooted in many of the bands of the 1960s, and the music of the 1990s. For us, they were hugely important and gave us unforgettable moments through their records and the concerts we experienced at the time. It was time to dig through the drawer and rescue one of our old T-shirts from oblivion.

This design brings back one of our original T-shirts from 1990–1991, carefully restored and reimagined as a new edition that stays faithful to the spirit of the original while improving everything else. We took one of our own vintage tees as the starting point and worked to create a product that feels better, looks better and lasts longer. The result is a higher-quality T-shirt made with organic cotton, a superior fabric and a much more refined overall finish.The print preserves the character and visual identity of the original piece, but the garment itself has been upgraded with a softer touch, a better fit and a stronger construction for everyday wear. It’s a revival of a classic, made for now.
